Great for finding and using pre-made programs, has a good database of exercises already built into the app. Some basic functions like substituting an exercise are locked behind a subscription though, and to an extent that I think is ridiculous. Otherwise a good app, but there are other apps that do more for free imho.

if you're an absolute workout beginner like me, this is a great app. it gives you free workout programs, each of the exercises have an option to click on them and it will show a video of how to actually do it (no more annoying Google searches). It has a ton of options for how much equipment you have access to (bodyweight only- full gym). There is a paid version if you want more access to other things, but I have been perfectly content with the free options.

The app has been very helpful for tracking workout progress and staying consistent with a pre-made program of your choice. The only issue I have may be an Android-specific one: everytime I go to a different app for just a minute between sets, when I open it back up the app reloads. This does get annoying over time, but other than that Boostcamp has been working for me!

Hi Chase, glad Boostcamp has been helping you stay consistent! The app reloading when you switch apps shouldn't be happening. Please reach out to support@boostcamp.app so we can look into it. – Lala, Boostcamp Support

What’s new

In this version, we're introducing some new features:
- Improvements across the app: on the workout page, your current set stays highlighted, finished exercises collapse as you go, and the rest timer is rebuilt. In History, view your training by month. And smaller fixes throughout.
- Photos in Community: add a photo and caption to your workout posts, and share more than just the numbers.
Plus bug fixes and general improvements to the app for better user experience.
