Velvet Palate Notes

Velvet Palate Notes is a personal tasting journal built for people who take their wine and coffee seriously. Every sip tells a story, and this app gives you the tools to capture it in full.

Log entries for wine and coffee with a detailed rating scale that goes beyond a simple number. Describe the body, finish, acidity, and intensity of each tasting. Choose from a rich library of aroma tags spanning floral, fruity, earthy, smoky, nutty, spicy, and more — so your notes reflect exactly what you experienced.

The app runs entirely on your device. No account required, no cloud sync, no data leaving your phone. Everything is stored locally, which means your journal is private by default.

The interface supports multiple themes — two light and two dark — so it feels comfortable whether you are reviewing notes in a sunlit cafe or a dimly lit wine cellar. Adjust the font size to suit your reading preference, and toggle haptic feedback if you like a tactile response when interacting with controls.

A 4-digit PIN option lets you keep your tasting history private. A customizable profile section with illustrated avatars adds a personal touch without requiring any personal information.

Velvet Palate Notes is designed for enthusiasts who want a quiet, focused space to document their tastings. No distractions, no subscriptions, no internet required.
