Bdayfetti: Birthday Watch Face

Bdayfetti is a birthday watch face for Wear OS, built in Google's Watch Face Format. Eleven party styles painted with cakes, balloons, gifts and a Happy Birthday banner, a big digital clock and date, confetti at a tap, and two complications of your own.

ELEVEN PARTY STYLES

Cupcake Pink, Sunflower, Emerald Gala, Rainbow Party, Rose Gold, Neon Arcade, Space Party, Pixel Galaxy, Ruby Ribbons, Starburst and Chocolate Gold - each with its own lettering, from rounded party type to glowing pixel digits.

- A large digital clock with a blinking colon, in 12-hour or 24-hour time as your watch is set
- The month, a big day number and the weekday
- Every style keeps the time and the date easy to read at a glance

FOUR ANIMATION CHOICES

Touch and hold the face, tap Customize, then Animation. The choices come in this order:

1. Off: no animation
2. Confetti (tap): a burst of confetti each time you tap the face
3. Confetti (auto), premium: confetti bursts again and again while the screen is on
4. Streamers (auto), premium: streamers fall non-stop while the screen is on

On some watches the Customize screen shows the same picture for all four choices, because the confetti only moves on the real face - the order above tells you which is which. Nothing animates in always-on, and the two auto animations use more battery than the others.

TWO COMPLICATIONS

- Two complication slots at the bottom, starting with your watch's battery on the left and its step count on the right
- Change either one: touch and hold the face, tap Customize and choose what each one shows - heart rate, weather, sunrise and sunset, or anything an app publishes as short text or an icon
- A slot can also hold an app shortcut, one tap from opening
- Tap a complication to open it; tap anywhere else on the face for confetti

Cupcake Pink, Sunflower and Emerald Gala are included with this watch face, with Confetti (tap) and both complications - complete, permanent styles, not a trial.

The premium set unlocks 8 premium styles - Rainbow Party, Rose Gold, Neon Arcade, Space Party, Pixel Galaxy, Ruby Ribbons, Starburst and Chocolate Gold - and the 2 auto animations, Confetti (auto) and Streamers (auto). One single payment of US$1.99 unlocks all of them at once. No subscription, nothing recurring.

A premium style you have not unlocked shows dimmed behind a Premium styles panel when you wear it, with your complications still live on top, so you see what you would be buying.

HOW TO UNLOCK

1. Install the free Watcholate Watch Faces app on your phone, and on your watch - the phone app opens the right page on the watch for you.
2. Open Bdayfetti in the phone app and make the one-time purchase, handled by Google Play.
3. The premium styles and animations unlock on your watch within a second or two.

The purchase is tied to your Google account: it covers every watch you sign in to and comes back after a reset or on a new watch.

ALWAYS-ON

Black, with the time and a short date only. No painting, no complications and no animation, and only a small part of the screen lit.
